What an adventure we have been on this week! Students have worked hard to inquire into structures that make us who we are and conflicts that cause change. We have also been working on thinking about our thinking, questioning things that don't make sense, and utilizing our self-management skills. I am proud of the connections that students have been making this week while taking a close look at the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments in social studies. Many students have realized that there are connections between the state of our world today and the issues that were present during the Civil War.
