Conferences
During the first 6 weeks of school, we will spend a great deal of time developing essential agreements for our classroom. We will also be developing and cultivating our classroom community. It is essential that we spend this time getting to know each other. I will begin to schedule conferences on September 24. I will be using Sign-up Genius this year to schedule conferences. Please watch for an email regarding conference sign-up during the week of August 27.
Reflection Journal
Your child will have a daily Reflection Journal. This will be in a notebook labeled "Reflection Journal". You should expect to see this notebook every day! Each day, students will reflect upon their learning for the day. This is also a time for students to reflect upon what they have learned at school and think about actions that could be taken based on what they have learned.
