Changes
We had a great time on our field trip to the Atlanta History Center! We've also been hard at work kicking off our UOI and specifically looking into questions that students have regarding our current units of study. Due to a student question about structures of items in our world, we have looked at the difference between living/non-living items to ensure students have a good understanding of what things in our world are made up of cells. We have also worked to determine a variety of unique uses for household items, and we also have started working on 5 important battles of the American Civil War. Students are hard at work on a couple of Social Studies inquiry projects right now in class. We are learning about abolitionists and their impact on the American Civil War.
Here are some pictures from our mystery object provocation and our field trip Atlanta History Center.
