ELA Practice
Students needs to write more than 1 sentence in response to these prompts. These are intended to be answered with a paragraph/essay. They need to use the text to support their answers.
One way for students to show that they are directly quoting, paraphrasing, or providing evidence is by using sentence stems.
Some examples of these stems are:

In paragraph # _____, it says
The graphic showed ____________
