Paper Planes
The last two weeks have been amazing. We have used paper airplanes to learn about the importance of inquiry. We have also classified our shoes to develop a deeper understanding of animal classification. Additionally, we have spent some time working on the IB Learner Profile Traits and the IB Attitudes. It has been great working to develop our classroom community of learners. Here are some pictures from our adventures.

We Rule the School!
We had a wonderful first day back to school! Fifth grade ROCKS!
Students began working to develop our classroom community. Be sure to ask your student about the scavenger hunt we did today. We also organized our supplies and learned lots of procedures. Additionally, we did several activities related to the Learner Profile.
Please be sure to read and sign your child's reflection blog. Also, students need to bring a healthy snack each day starting tomorrow.
